Conditional logic 'Skip to a page or end of the form'

Asked by Ralph Betesh  on August 11, 2015 at 09:16 AM

I've got an insanely long form with over 100 conditions and I'm having one issue.

I'd like a page to be skipped if a user inputs an option on the first page.

Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks!

    Ralph

    Thank you for contacting us.

You can achieve that with conditional logic "Skip to a page or end of the form".

To achieve this you will also have to add page breaks inside of your form and then set conditions.

If you are still unable to set conditions to skip pages, please provide us ID or your form and we would be happy to assist you.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Unfortunately, this isn't what I'm looking to do.
If they select C on page 1, I still want them to proceed to page 2, 3,
    4...Then 6.
Is there any way to do this?
    Thanks!

You can achieve that as well, but you would need to add one additional rule to your condition. You should add condition if user select C on page one and if e.g some field on page 4 is filled (field that is required), then after user click on next button skip to page 6.

Here is my demo form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/52226347080955?

If you have any difficulties with setting your conditions please provide us ID of your form.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Ignore the last question (it fixed by itself?), one more problem though and
I should be good to go (: - I have the form as sessions right now, and if a
user comes back to the session and hits next on page one after they've
already filled the field on page 4, it takes them to page 5. Is there a way
around this? Also, I don't have a back button on the last page. If I try to
add one, there is also a next button. If I add the back/next buttons, then
the submit button is invisible. If I add the back/next button and hide the
visibility of the next button, the submit button is still invisible. Is
there a way to fix this as well? Thanks!

I have cloned and tested your form and I noticed that Auto Fill feature is disabled, so when I closed and reopened my cloned form all data that I have entered were gone. I have also tested condition to skip page 5 and that condition is working correctly.

Regarding back button on last page, it is not visible because you have hide first back button on your form. You need to make it visible and then back button will be shown on your last page.

I have also noticed that you have several password fields and login fields inside of your form and that is against against our Terms of use

Phishing - You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form is created or JotForm is found to be used to: Obtain credit cards sensitive information, get social security numbers, show content with child pornography. Or if a form was made to steal user login credentials. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the guilty forms will be suspended immediately.

I would suggest you to remove those fields from your form, because your account may be suspended by our Phishing Detector.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
