Ownership of submitted data

If we create secure forms, who owns the data and what happens if we don't use Jotform in the future, how is the data disposed of?

Looking for information on data ownership and how it can be securely deleted at any point.

Please be noted that JotForm does not claim any ownership of your form and its submission data. Owner of the account owns all rights to your form and submissions.

You can delete your forms and submissions at any time. Please note that once you deleted your submissions you can't recover them back.
