In order to keep my Premium rate do I have to apply for a Bronze account?

No, there's no need to change your subscription. The current rate is locked in your account for as long as you keep your payment method updated and you won't wait for our payment processor to cancel it. Because if your subscription will be cancelled and you will upgrade again, the new pricing will be applied.
