    Why are my email notifications incomplete?

    I have a website with a jotform "quick contact form":


    The email notifications are most of the time incomplete when I test it.

    Some of the fields are blank in the mail. The email subject is blank.

    What's going on? Please help me asap.

    I made a test submission on your site and all of the values were shown on the Submissions page. I also checked your email and all of the email fields are correct.

    The questions on your form are not required. Maybe people are really leaving those questions empty?

    No, I have been testing it on my mac... When I receive it in my mailbox, some of the fields are blank even if I actually put something. Then, if I go on the website (Jot Form), I am able to see the content. But in my own mailbox, sometimes I won't have the subject and sometimes I won't have anything. Do you have any idea?

    Just tried it. 1st time: No notification at all... 2nd time: subject field not showing in the email subject in my mailbox...

    Made a test submission and all fields came fine. The subject was also fine.

    I added my email address to your form so I will also get the emails. Can you do couple of tests until you can re-create the problem.

    Are you filling the form on your own site or using the JotForm URL?

    I was filling the form on my website and looking at the email notification in apple mail. I tried a couple of times last time and it worked perfectly. Hopefully it will continue that way. Thanks.

    I solved this problem by deleting the email notification and creating a new one from scratch.

    Sometimes when you changed the form some of the fields need updating in the email notification code.

    Hope this helps!
