Assigning a number in a thank-you message?

I have created a registration form.  Is there any way to assign a unique and sequential number within each thank-you message that also lets me know what the assigned number is?  Or some other way to automatically assign a unique and sequential number to each registration that lets the person (& myself) know what their number is?

I found a jotform widget to do this (in case anyone else wants to do the same).

It's either you can use Unique ID widget or Random Value Generator.
