    I created an encrypted form but I never received the prompt to create an encryption key. How can I create one?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    More about Encrypted Forms you can find in this article: http://www.jotform.com/help/344-What-are-Encrypted-Forms-and-how-to-use-them-as-expert

    When you create an encrypted form, the private key is given to you to download it. This file should be in your Downloads folder if you have not moved it, or saved in some other location.

    My colleague Mike has given a nice explanation of how you can find it in this thread: Unable to view the information submitted via an encrypted form?

    Hope this will help. Let us know of you need further assistance.

    Yes I have searched the downloads folder and read through the thread, but
    when I create an encrypted form, it does not prompt me to create an
    encryption key. I have even tried this link:
    http://www.jotform.com/encrypted-forms/, but it still doesn't show the
    prompt for the encryption key and I never have created one.

    @cogreenville

    Thanks for your reply.

    Maybe it was saved on your browsers cache that's why it is not showing up. May I suggest to clear your browser's cache and cookies then try it again. If that doesn't help, use private browsing (firefox) or incognito mode (chrome), this should open up the encryption key wizard.

    If none of these helps, let us know so we can assist you further. Thank you!
