Approval-request tier creates constant loop of original request email.

Hello.

I have an approval process that is more or less put in to place (with help from a previous post:https://www.jotform.com/answers/648146-Submit-Button-Change-for-multiple-uses#1)

With my current setup, Person A ($0-$5K), will always be alerted that a NEW Material Request From has been submitted. Even if Person A is only passing this on (Via an Edit Link) email to the next level of approval. (I can set the condition, and pass it on, but once "Submit" is hit, the original is once again generated.)

Is there a way to end that constant loop? 

I do need to have ALL approval begin with Person A, even though we know in advance the authorization will be 'above' him.

If I understood you correctly your issue is that you are always receiving email Notification "0-5 Approval". 

I would suggest you to make that email Notification conditional as well. For example you can set to receive that email notification only if fields that will be approved later on are empty.
