    Font Size Automatically Changes to 8px once the Designer is Open on Mac

    Asked by Masalamedia on August 31, 2015 at 09:49 PM

    Opening the FONT OPTIONS control panel in Designer immediately impacts the form design by automatically changing the base font size to 8points.

    Sometimes the same thing happens to the LINE LAYOUT control - revealing it automatically shoves the slider to 0px Line Spacing.

    Only happens in MacOS (reproducable on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox). Unable to reproduce in Windows browsers.

    Madness. Infuriating.

    Hi,

    Can you try clear your form cache and browser cache and see if it will help? If the issue still persists, can you provide us a screenshot of the issue so we can further investigate.

    We will wait for your response.

    Regards.

    Here is a screencast of the phenomenon. Yes all the caches are cleared.

    Truly infuriating.

    I can confirm this happens in Mac OSX across all browsers, and as stated above, does not occur in Windows environments.

    I don't have time to document it, but the LINE LAYOUT feature of DESIGNER does roughly the same thing most of the time. It's on you to document/ticket that. I don't have time.

    Hi Masalamedia,

    Thank you for providing us with that additional information. I was able to replicate the issue for both the font and line size

    This has been passed on to our developers as well. Any update will be posted on this thread.

    A possible workaround is to enter the following into the custom css field and adjust the font size from there. I haven't thoroughly tested it but it seems to work.

    .form-all {font-size: 16px;}
