2nd email: Also, I need to downgrade to the free option and thought I had done this back in July. I tried to do it today and it didn't let me. According to my invoices, I was also charged in July and August so I don't believe it ever went through. Perhaps, I didn't notice that it didn't go through.

Hi,
I have cancelled your subscription and refunded your payments for August and September. You should see the refund in your account in 5-7 business days. Since there is no way to know your usage prior to that, this is all I am able to refund.
