Is there a way to limit the amount of answers per row in the matrix?

I would like to limit the amount of answers to two per row, but I cannot find an option field for that. Is there such?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to limit selections per row or column in the matrix field.  Since each cell is treated as its own entry in the field, it is not possible to limit the selections at all.  I will forward a request to our development team to see if this is something they want to add in the future.  I cannot guarantee if or when they will be able to add this, however, it will at least be considered.
