Do I have to get submissions?

    Hi.  I want my form to be available to the user as a tool, but am not collecting any information and need nothing to be submitted or recorded.   I understand that I can turn off submission notifications, but I am referring to not having submissions at all.

    Hi,

    If you do not want to have a submission at all in your form, you can remove the submit button in your form. This way the form will never be submitted.

    Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Regards.

    I need the submit button so the user can get the price quote. Originally, I was trying to set up the form without it, but found there was no other way to have the user press “enter” after filling in their info. I would be perfectly happy with an “enter” button that never puts them on another screen, but does return the price quote. If that can’t be done, can I somehow turn off the feature that connects the “submit” button to an actual submission? Thanks.

    Unfortunately, you cannot remove that functionality in the form. If the form is submitted, that will be counted over your submissions limit. If you need to receive the information, the form must have the submit button for your clients to submit it.

    Thanks

    Since I do not need (nor want) to receive the information, I would like to reformat my form to avoid the submit button. Please advise how I can install a button on the bottom of the form which can be pressed once the user has filled in all three fields. When pressed, a field will pop up or fill in with the result. I need the three user fill in fields to only show the user what they have input, not the resulting figure I use to calculate their total price.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

    You can try to use the Page Break field found in the Survey Tools section. Here is a step by step guide on how you can achieve this. I use your form - http://www.jotform.us/form/52606415781153 as an example.

    1. Remove the Submit button and add Page Break.

    2.  Set the Back Button Visibility to Hidden.

    3. Modify Next Text as needed.

    4. Add Text field after the Page Break field.

    5. Add this value in your Text field to display the inputted value of your user.

    Size: {sizeOf1}
    Age Of Home: {ageOf3}
    Zip Code: {zipCode13}

    You can check this clone form that I have created. You can also clone the form to have a closer look on the setup.

    Almost there, but after the user presses enter they need to get the calculated price. So the “enter” needs to be a math function. Also, don’t need to display what they entered, only the calculated price. Can we do that? Thank you very much for your help!
