I have a fillable pdf form can I import it into jotform?

Thank you for asking, James. Sorry but the answer is no, JotForm can only (currently) import HTML-based forms.
Being able to import pdf forms sounds like a nice feature though, so I think I'll move this to our feature wishlist. If it is possible to implement, and if our developers think it is worthy, it might make its way in future versions of JotForm.

Not sure if or how this has progressed? It really would be a big plus, simply because it would provide a way to create forms off-line using a fairly standard interface.

Unfortunately we still do not have this feature. I have re-opened the request to see if this may be something possible now. We will update this thread when we have a response but it may take some time to do so. Please let us know if you have any other questions and we will be happy to help.
Thank you for using Jotform!

Your can now import your fillable PDF form to Jotform.
Check this out: https://www.jotform.com/adobe-formscentral-alternative/
When you click the Import Forms button, select the Upload PDF and upload your PDF file. You will then be informed via email once your form is ready.
