Email Validator widget: Use custom sender email address

    Hi

We are having constant issues with Hotmail and icloud users as these email systems do not like the Email Validator validation email and junks it.

I think this would be remedied if we could set a senders email rather than the noreply@jotform.com email default.

Is there any chance of providing this option?  It is causing us huge headaches!

    Thanks

    Sheila

    Hi,

Unfortunately, the Email Validator widget was designed to send the verification code from our servers, that is why by default you will receive the code in noreply@jotform.com

I will forward this to our widget team to see if they can add the ability to use a custom sender - this will probably use an SMTP setup. However, please note that this will be a feature request, and I'm unable to guarantee its implementation. But rest assure that our developers are already aware of this. We will update you on this thread as soon as we hear any news.

For the meantime, you could add a note to your form about Hotmail and iCloud users regarding this issue. You could also try using the XVerify widget, it allows you to automatically verify the email address in a single step.
