How do I allow users to search all submissions using drop-down fields and graphicsAsked by brendan thannhauser on October 04, 2015 at 04:52 AM
I have been waiting for more than two years for someone to come up with a cool way of searching all submissions (no ability to change submissions) along certain criteria using a graphical interface. I run a human resources firm and I want users to be able to search for a skill set e.g. project manager or business analyst. I would love such a search to be defined using the same drop down list from my submissions form with the search result returning as a graphic e.g. pie chart. Has anything been developed yet? Does anyone want to develop one for me?
Based on what you described as your requirements, I believe you may be happy with our Visual Reports:
Basically, our reports allow you to present your submissions in a non-editable way to other people, so you can embed the report on your website. I'm afraid that entries in the Visual Report are searchable/filterable by the end users viewing them, but it can still be a nice way to present your desired submission data to your users - without them being able to modify your data.

I hope this helps.
