the "phone number" field set (under "quick tools") should allow me to set a "max" length attribute for the area code (in most cases that would be 3) and auto-jump to the next field – the actual phone number – after that.

maybe an optional "country code" field might be helpful.

    thanks

This was already suggested before. It is now in our feature wishlist, although we cannot give a time as to when it will be implemented, if at all.

Sorry, but our development team's workload has become unpredictably heavy these days, especially since we gained a lot of Premium users due to our year-end sale. Thus, we cannot guarantee whether this will be approved or not.

In any case, we will inform you if there is any change on the status of this request.

Has this feature been developed yet?  I have a client that would like for the form to automatically jump to the next field after they input their data without having to press the "tab" key.  If this has been developed already, how do I activate this feature?  Thank you!

The feature is still on our todo list. However, in the interim, if you would be okay with replacing the double-boxed phone input with a single input, there's a solution but it would require obtaining a copy of the form's full source from the Embed Form Wizard, embedding it into a web page and adding a script. (See How to Auto Format and Mask Telephone Numbers With Javascript.)

If you're interested in this, we can assist you. Just let us know.

The solution can be seen in action in this form. Although the script could do with some cleaning up, as I discovered upon checking it at the Online Lint, it does work in every browser in which I've tested it so far.

The script has been updated to simplify its usage. As stated in its first comment (line 3), on line 4 just substitute the ID of your form's phone input for input_3. (No need to alter the form's code.)
