Is there a way to rename images that have already been uploaded to my JotForm?Asked by Acadian on October 14, 2015 at 01:41 PM
If someone tries to save an image from the JotForm, the image name will show up. Is there a way to either rename the image through JotForm (so I don't have to re-upload 50 images) or is there a way to prevent the person from trying to save the image in the first place? We are trying to keep image names confidential during the voting process. You cannot see the names on the JotForm itself, only if someone tries to save an image.
Unfortunately, the images cannot be renamed in JotForm. Their names are linked in our database and once they are uploaded, changing them in the DB is not possible. That name will be shown when downloaded. The only thing I can recommend would be to instruct your users to name their files in a way that does not give away their identity. Add a header above the field or something of the sort letting them know acceptable naming conventions.
