    How to change the form color?

    Asked by Alex Maier on January 15, 2012 at 05:49 PM

    I want to change the field background colors to a darker color. How do I do that?

    To change the background colors of the fields' inputs, inject the following CSS, altering the value of the color declaration to suit your preference:

    input, textarea, select {
    background-color: #F00;
    color: #FFF;
    }

    Note that in addition to the background, a color declaration was included. That will not always be necessary but it's easier to read white (#FFF) text on a red (#F00) background than the default black. Incidentally, I don't think it's possible to change the background of the ReCAPTCHA's input.

    Actually, the rule above does change the ReCAPTCHA's input's background but you will need to add the following rule to change its color:

    #recaptcha_response_field {
    color: #FFF;
    }

    (This rule isn't necessary with regular CAPTCHAs.)
