Is it ok to use jotform for online credit card authorizations, like the form I have on my account?

I was told by a colleague that it's against jotform policy to create online credit card authorization forms. Is this correct?

Hi Denise,

Yes, correct. Forms that would ask for credit card information using our plain text fields such as the text box field are considered as a phishing form. It's against our Terms of Use. Please edit your form and remove the credit card fields. Otherwise, your form might get caught and you will be auto-suspended.
