We have one form created for our propheticsgallery.com website where artisans submit JPEG images of their art for us to sell. Question, is there a size limit when they CHOOSE FILE from their hard drive and attach it to the form? It appears one artist tried to submit a rather large file, over 40 mg, which is the higher resolution we need, and it failed to upload. Thanks

You can actually change the file upload size limit. Please refer to this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/33-Changing-the-Upload-Size-Limit
When it failed to upload, did you see or got any error message?
For JotForm, the maximum file upload is up to 1GB or less per file.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
