Best Way to Create Secure Form for Finance App??

Hey guys, we wanted to create a secure form for finance application submission and weren't sure the best way to do tis and keep everything as secure as possible? Is there a way on jotform (when configuring the form) to make it secure -- or does the webpage itself need to be secure somehow?

JotForm provides an option to make your forms secure even without a security certificate for your website.

Just make sure that the "Secure form" checkbox is selected in the Embed Form Wizard screen when generating your form's embed codes.

Doing so will give you secure form codes such as, for example, this one:

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotform.com/jsform/20170822348"></script>

Notice how the embed code uses the https (SSL) protocol for the form's URL.

Although embedding a secure form will not display the lock (secure) icon in your users' browser, you can be assured that the data submitted are being transferred over secure data connection.

If you'd like the lock icon to display (for added user confidence), you can just use the form's direct link instead, such as https://secure.jotform.com/20170822348.
