I need to add 7 days after the submission days and display it in the email or autoresponder?Asked by chinathinksbig on November 04, 2015 at 10:22 PM
I need to add 7 days after the submission days and display it in the responder email, can I do that? If so, how?
This is possible, here's a sample test form I made: https://form.jotform.com/53082390679968?
Here's a step by step guide:
1. Here, I added a "DateTime" field, I set the "Default Date" to "Current", so that when the user submits the form, the current date will be fetched.
2. We will then use the "Form Calculation" widget to make the calculation.
3. Here, first we will use the dateString function to convert the date field to a text string. At the same time, we will add the calculation there. Here's how:
You can make a test submission in my form and see how it works. Now if you do not want to show the date field and the form calculation widget on your user's view or in live preview, you can hide them.
I hope that helps.
