How can I set my links so they automatically open in Google chrome as opposed to Explorer?

The links are usually opened automatically based on the browser that you have set as your default in your OS.
Kindly refer to this google guide on how to set Chrome as the default

Thanks for the reply, however is there no way to make it mandatory that they open in Chrome. I'm finding that a lot of our suppliers have explorer as their default and therefore the form does not perform to it's best standards.

Unfortunately this is entirely in the domain of the end users, you can however suggests to them Chrome and states the merits it has when compared to IE.
This should convince them to install the browser on their machines.
