How can my users submit and also maintain several submissions?

Is there a way my users can submit multiple entries and also edit/maintain them after submitting?  I will be using this for teachers to submit student auditions for an all-state chorus and I would like the teachers to be able to go back and change things on their submissions if necessary.

If I understand you question correctly, you want the user to submit multiple entries using the same form and also have the ability to come back and edit/update these entries.

It is possible to enable the user to come back and edit their submissions by including the edit submissions link in the auto-responder email, this option is also available in the notification email.

Upon submissions the user will receive a notification email with the link which will allow editing/updating of the data
