This is a very interesting question. Well, we consider you as our client, not an affiliate.
As for the security. We are secured and we do not have any history of a data breach.
Forms and Submissions. Company does not claim ownership of any information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, tags, or other materials you submit or make available for inclusion on or through the JotForm Service ("Forms and Submissions"). As between Company and you, you own all rights to your Forms and Submissions. When you make a Form, Submissions page or a Report "public", you grant Company a worldwide and fully sublicensable license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform, and publicly display your Forms and Submissions (in whole or in part) in any format or medium now known or later developed. Company does not pre-screen forms or submissions and you agree that you are solely responsible for all of your Forms and User Submissions.
The last highlighted sentences. This is particularly referring to our share submissions feature, reports which can be shared and embedded to a website, form submissions that can be downloaded and shared. You can keep your form data private to avoid any data breach.
I hope that explains it. Let us know if you are confused or if you have any further questions regarding this matter.
