Previous submission data not displayed while trying to edit the submission

My form is not on a web site, I send a link to a user, they fill in the first lot of data and submit but then i need them to add more data and submit again at a later date. This used to work well, but now my users are finding that all the data previously entered has vanished and they have to start all over again. What sort of setting is now missing for this information to have vanished. My form saves every 4 seconds and is set for 1 week to live at the moment. It is also being used on a mobile phone.

I've checked your account and see that there are several forms in your account. It seems that there are no submissions for most of the forms. Could you provide us with the form URL/ID that the issue is being caused so that we can take a look and provide you with necessary assistance? Also, please let us know if there are submissions were deleted from your forms in the account.

THE FORM IS CALLED 'ACVL MASTER COPY'. WE USE THIS FORM AS A TEMPLATE AND JUST CLONE IT TO MAKE OTHERS. SORRY I CAN'T SEND YOU A LINK BUT THE LINKS WON'T LOAD AT ALL IN GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER. AND I'M SO BUSY TODAY AS THE THANK YOU SCREEN IS NOT DISPLAYING TO PEOPLE SO I'M HAVING TO MANUALLY CHECK EVERY FORM TOO.

Since you say that the form ACVL MASTER COPY is a Master copy and clone this as a template, I believe this master copy form will not be having any submissions. As your account is having more than 2800 forms, it would be helpful for us if you can provide us the form ID/URL causing the issue. Could you try loading the link in a different browser and see if that helps? If that is an Edit link which is not loading, please share the link so that we'll see what is causing the issue. We would be able to assist you properly if you can provide us with more information.

It's every form, not just one and they are all made form this one. So if the settings on this are correct all the others should be, shouldn't they?

Yes. The cloned form should be having the same settings as the original form. I've checked the form 53331918022953 and see that there are two submissions for this form. 

I was thinking that the user is trying to edit the previously submitted submission. I believe that you are referring to Auto Fill feature. Please be noted that this feature works only when the link is opened on the same browser and same computer since the data previously entered is stored in browser storage. If you want to allow the user to open the form with previously filled information on any browser, you may consider using the other workaround with session method.
