    Email Notification Not Working

Asked by sydneyside on October 06, 2010 at 08:17 PM

I am having difficulty with email notifications. Both the Notification emaii and the auto responder are not sending confirmation emails that I have created.

I am setting up several forms for a client and for some reason the auto responder notification has kept the email from another client that I have created a form for last week. Even though I am logged in as a completely different user. I replaced this in the notofication wizard and the notifications are still not coming through.

I have checked the spam folders as well.

The form uses a buy now button and made sure that the email in the account settings is correct too.

    Can anyone help???

I completed your Newsletter form, and received the auto-response email fine. I also checked our server logs for and the notification email was accepted by your email server.

I think you should check your spam folder. If you do not see it. Try sending the log entry above to your hosting provider and they can check what happened to the email.

Thank you for your response. I think it might have been me not realising that the paypal order needs to be completed before the notification is sent. Is this the case? I know it's a bit of a dummies question, but I am pretty new to Jotform. Great service BTW.

Yes, exactly. The paypal payment must be completed before the emails are sent. However, you can see the pending orders from the Submissions page. On payment forms, the submissions page has a Pending Submissions button. You can click on that to see forms completed but the payment have not.

We actually had a bug on that feature yesterday. You might have tried it during that time.
