How can I use input data to create a label for another field?

Asked by bexton on December 19, 2015 at 08:00 PM

I am setting up a timesheet for workers to record their weekly time spent at work.

I want the user to choose his name form the drop down menu.

Then using that input data, populate another field which will have {name} hours worked as the next field where the name would populate automatically and would show up on the spreadsheet label. This user could insert the number of hours worked.

    Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, you can not populate labels with values from another field, you can only do this using the Text Field, refer to the image below :

Refer to this guide in order to know how to find the Name of a field : http://www.jotform.com/help/146-How-to-find-Field-IDs-Names

And here is my sample form, feel free to clone it : https://form.jotform.com/53530393799972

Let us know if that helps.
