    Missing Submission Data: Form added on Facebook page as an app getting blank submission data on required fields

    Hi,

    we have to kind of problem with required field.

    1) about 29 of th 601 registration down't have the required field assigned, three of which have the value "Unchecked", the others are blank

    2) many people write to us that they cannot make any selection. I guess they refere to the fact that they cannot go ahead sending the form but the selection is not possible.

     

    Could you please check what's wrong on our form?

    I have checked your form and I can verify that the required field warning are all working properly. 

    This means that the form cannot be submitted if there are required fields that are skipped.

    Is your form embedded on a website? If it is, can you provide us the link to the website, please, so we can check that also?

    I have checked the submission page of your form and was able to see what you mean. Some of the fields that are required came out blank on the submission page. It seems that it only happened to two fields on the form, the "Indica il colore della serie" field (drop-down) and "Indica il numero della cartella" (Line radio button widget). However, I cannot reproduce the issue you're having after I have cloned the form. 

    I'm not sure if this is a temporary issue or it is because of the DDoS(Distributed Denial of Service) attack that we've experienced recently. Since it's been happening randomly on your form submissions, I would suggest you try to catch user's browser info that may also help us detect when or how the issue is occurring and continue observing.

    thanks for the quick reply.

    Yes, I can understand that the problem is random, so very hard to detect er replicate. However, the form is embedded into a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/natiperleggere/

    We know that some users are compiling the form using mobile/smartphone so it could also be related to some different/strnage behavior under android or ios.

    Please, let me know if we can do something to recover this issue.

    Sorry for the inconvenience Robert. I just went into your page and use my android mobile device, but was not able to reproduce the issue. Each time I tried to skip a required field, I got a warning message.

    If you still experience, this please let us know and we will be glad to take another look.

    I have done a check this evening, after two days of form publication. We have about 3,5% of registrations which failed one or two of the required forms, always the same two: the "Indica il colore della serie" field (drop-down) and "Indica il numero della cartella" (Line radio button widget).

    Indeed, we have 26 wrong records of the 736 totals recorded.

    Please, to check some of them, just dowanlod the report from my account and check, for instance, the following list of people:

    I have to admit that a failure of 3,5% is too high for me, I hope you can solve the problem for us and for other customers.

    However, I have to say you have an excellent software and a brilliant technical support.

    I have visited your Facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/natiperleggere/) and checked the app(https://www.facebook.com/natiperleggere/app/684336108254110/). From what I know, Facebook apps are not accessible with mobile devices. It can only be viewed through Desktop's(computer) web browsers. 

    I have inspected the form on your page and I'm seeing some errors in the console that might have caused the issue you're having right now.

    The Mixed Content errors can be solved with the help of the CSS codes provided by my colleague, Ben, on the other thread you have created.

    With regards to the other errors, I would have to escalate that to our developers so they can check it. I cannot, however, provide you any ETA to when this will be fixed and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this have caused you. Please be assured that this will be looked into and you will be notified via this thread for updates if there are any.
