Can uploaded images be displayed in email alerts, instead of just links to the images?

I am trying to create a form to report lost dogs where the email notification can also be used as a flyer.  We are using the free option before buying.  The picture of the dog is very important.  When I receive the notification there is a link to click on to get the picture, then the picture comes up in a separate window.

Is there any way to have the picture appear on the notification, without seeing the filename and link?

Can I adjust the size of the picture on the notification?

    (Jotform is awesome!)

    Thank you,

    Patti

Glad you increased the priority, but because I don't know how long that will take, I would like to add that this same request has been viewed 515 times total!  :)

Question was asked in different ways:

308 views Is it possible to display an uploaded image in email notification?

182 views Image files won't download from email browser

25 views Can actual image display on notification, not file name with link?

Just hoped it might move it ahead a little more to become a reality soon.  :)

I don't have any complaints, I love JotForm.  Thank you for all you do, don't know how you do such a great job with all of the requests.

    Patti

@LostDogs10 We have implemented this feature.

In order to display uploaded images directly on your email or custom thank you page, you should add IMG prefix into your upload tag. Such as: {uploadImage} => {IMG:uploadImage} this prefix will create an image with the original dimensions of the uploaded image. If you want to specify dimensions, you should provide them as arguments. Such as: {IMG:uploadImage:100:200} will put an image 100px wide and 200px tall.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Serkan, how can I get the thumbnail of the image to be constrained to 200 pixels in width or height? In other words, let's say the user submits an image 3000 pixels wide by 4000 pixels high and instead of the originally sized image, I just want an undistorted thumbnail of it displayed in the notification email. Not knowing the aspect ratios of submitted images beforehand, how can I achieve this? (Using your second code example of 100:200 would distort the image, making it appear vertically stretched.)

@abajan You can provide one dimension such as {IMG:uploadImage:200} or {IMG:uploadImage::200} the missing dimension will be automatically calculated by the browser.
