Advice on using Filepicker for uploads
Hi, we are considering using Jotform for a recruitment website we are building. I have found the Filepicker widget but I am a little confused and I have some questions:
Firstly, is Filepicker now called Filestack? When I click the link it takes me to Filestack.
If our users upload either local or cloud based files on Jotform using the Filepicker widget are the files stored in our Jotform account or in our Filepicker account? Ideally we would like everything to be managed in Jotform.
Thanks in advance
Regards, Brook Fabian

Thank you for contacting us.
Yes, the Filepicker has been re-branded to Filestack. The files uploaded via Filepicker/Filestack widget are being processed by Filestack, so they are not stored at JotForm. Although, you should be able to see the file download links at JotForm.
In order to use your JotForm storage, you will need to use standard File Upload field(s).
If you need any further assistance, please let us know. We will be happy to help.

Thanks for your email. You say we ‘should’ be able to see the Filestack download links in Jotform. Is there any way you can confirm this, as it will be a key consideration for us? I don’t want to have to spend time setting up the accounts to then find that we cannot access the uploads through Jotform.

Hi Guys. Just trying to set up a form with Filestack integration so users can upload CV from mobile devices and I cannot see Filestack widget in the list of available widgets, is it still available?

We only removed it from the widgets list. You can still continue using existing file picker widgets on your existing forms as long as you wish. Or when you need one on a new form, you can start on the form by cloning another old form that has file picker widget. If you have any question or issues, please do not hesitate contacting us. We will be glad to assist you.
