trying to capture a signature on a form.

Using sigplus pluggin that I downloaded from a link found on the widget page for a topaz T-S261-hsb-r signature pad.

Using firefox, enabled NPAPI, installed and enabled plugin,

signature shows on page but when I click to finish I get an error

I have uploaded a file with the screen shot of the error

I had this working fine, capturing signatures and adding it to the form submission but it stopped working a few weeks ago. I have been trying to fix it but am making NO headway.

Thanks for any help you can give.

The npapi plugin method is being phased out by browsers in favor of the web API, the process started in January 2015 and by the end of 2016 this support will be unavailable for all plugins using this method.

I'm unable to test the signature input because I do not have the device but the plugin is installed correctly

Sigplus have released a web api version of the plugin, I will notify our developers regarding this and see if they have any updates.

Meanwhile if you updated you firefox browser to the latest version kindly try using an older version to see if the problem still persists.

As an alternative you can check out the adobe esign widget
