For example I want to know how many clients are coming from Michigan and if 0 I can contact the state representative to help promote the registration.

    Hi,

Though there is not currently a way to filter the built in JotForm reports for specific responses, it would be possible to export your data to Excel:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/44-How-to-Export-Form-Data-to-Excel

And then filter the spreadsheet for specific entries.

That is what I figured, but it would be a good filter to have for businesses since we can see what country and IP address.

    Thanks

You can include the IP and such in the excel export as well:

While viewing your submissions, click on the little gear icon in the top right, then check the box for "IP", to include the data in with your export.
