Can I use this as a insertable form in wordpress?Asked by Jim on January 14, 2016 at 09:37 AM
I have been struggling attemping to find a way to create a form in wordpress in a specific layout then allowing the user to fill it out and submit it back in the original format created on the web page. most I have tried have a aesy way to create a form but when submitted it comes to the email in a generic all lined up left justified crappy form.. please let me know if this can be done>.. until them I will continue searching for a solution
If I understood you correctly Jim, you are looking to have the email look just like your form does instead of the email details being sent in a specific - table like - layout?
If that is true, then I would need to mention that the table like layout is the default way to have your emails look.
Now if you are looking to make it look exactly as the form, this would be possible since you can add HTML directly or use the editor to help you style the email.
If you are however looking to have the email sent with the actual form fields and filled out details, please do note that this is not the best way to send the email since many services will block and bounce such emails.Hope this answers your question, but please do let us know if you have any questions in regards to the same and we would be happy to assist with the same.
