I have a problem with the mail notifications.
Is there a way to force a form to send via smtp?
As far as I know the customers mail server does not accept mails which are not send via smtp (e.g. just phpmail fucntion).
I really would like to use jotforms for that customer, as it gives good opportunity to have easy configurable forms on facebook page.
A quick respond would be appreciated.

I tested the form and it was accepted by your client's mail server.
Oct 12 10:19:37 yang sm-mta: o9CEJTiU011610: to=<termin@**********.de>, ctladdr=<firstname.lastname@example.org> (1006/1007), delay=00:00:07, xdelay=00:00:04, mailer=esmtp, pri=123936, relay=mail.*********.de. [220.127.116.11], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent (OK id=1P5fhY-0004hX-Ap)

as I thought it was a problem with smtp. But not with your software or server.
The server for the client has a missconfiguration for smtp as he is not able to
properly handle mail send to smtp via localhost.
When receiving the mails there was a way to get all mails which where send for example
via a webform and with another pop3 server client recieved the mail send by others.
The error which we had encountered while trying to get the mails from jotform helped to
get the real error solved.
Thank you so far for your good software.Anyway, feature requests: CSS for the forms should be editable via jotforms.com also as IE has problems with css via <style> in Facebook, needs it via link tag also the link adress needs to have a increasing version number when changed. Otherwise facebook does not reload the cssFacebook code export should limit the width to 520px (tab maximum on facebook) Also it would be usefull to have more options for mail notification. different recipients (with different mail templates) at least on template for a mail send to the user which has submitted a form

Last thing, the iphone app would make more sense to me and be more usefull if it would take the template created for mail notifications to display submitted data.

Can you ask unrelated questions on their own threads? This way it is easier to keep track of questions for us and for you, and for others who read the forum.
