hacked formAsked by Valshe001 on January 20, 2016 at 12:06 PM
our contact for has been hacked by the following email ekogan @ hotmail.co.uk, initially we thought our website was hacked, however I have created a new contact form through Jotform, who emailed me a verification code, I checked the email and the hackers email was present.
I am devastated by this finding, I have checked submission in my inbox for the "Contact us" form dating back to Aril and the hackers email is present on all emails.
VERY Urgent what course of actin can I take?
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do retroactively. I would recommend changing the passwords of any email addresses or accounts linked to your JotForm account to ensure that the compromise does not happen again. I can assure you that they did not hack directly into your account, it was likely done through a compromised email account and a password reset.
