    I really like your service!

    The ability to provide hints when you use more than one may be causing an error...

    This is what your code looked like from the autogeneration script you have set up: http://www.jotform.com/form/20404955821

    The bold section works.

    <script type="text/javascript">
    JotForm.init(function(){
    $('input_4').hint('History class example: Look at an unfamiliar propaganda poster and provide an analysis of its intended function and how it was meant to sway its audience.');
    JotForm.description('input_7', 'This question invites the student to explore. It is on the cusp between Domain Knowledge and Critical Thinking regarding information fluency. Exploration should occur in a private/safe arena.');
    $('input_8').hint('History class example: Provide an analysis of the image and text, identifying the work’s audience, its desired outcome, and how the poster was meant to achieve this outcome.');
    $('input_9').hint('History class example: Write a paper analyzing these elements.');
    $('input_10').hint('History class example: Provide an oral analysis of the poster.');
    $('input_11').hint('History class example: Post an image of the poster along with their analysis as part of a course blog.');
    $('input_12').hint('History class example: Ask them to revise their written assignment based on feedback (from me and peers) and to resubmit it.');
    });
    </script>

    This is what I changed your code to (in order to show up the hints for each field I desired). I tested this locally and had it work. Unfortunately I could not embed it in my own page. I will have to do more testing on that.

     <script type="text/javascript">
       JotForm.init(function(){
          JotForm.description('input_4', 'History class example: Look at an unfamiliar propaganda poster and provide an analysis of its intended function and how it was meant to sway its audience.');
          JotForm.description('input_7', 'This question invites the student to explore. It is on the cusp between Domain Knowledge and Critical Thinking regarding information fluency. Exploration should occur in a private/safe arena.');
          JotForm.description('input_8', 'History class example: Provide an analysis of the image and text, identifying the work’s audience, its desired outcome, and how the poster was meant to achieve this outcome.');
          JotForm.description('input_9', 'History class example: Write a paper analyzing these elements.');
          JotForm.description('input_10', 'History class example: Provide an oral analysis of the poster.');
          JotForm.description('input_11', 'History class example: Post an image of the poster along with their analysis as part of a course blog.');
          JotForm.description('input_12', 'History class example: Ask them to revise their written assignment based on feedback (from me and peers) and to resubmit it.');
       });
    </script>

    Thank you!

    Hi Janene,

    I have checked your form and found no problem on it. I can see that only one field has Hover Text value, that's why other field doesn't display any description text.

    I then think maybe what you mean here is the "Hover Text" not the "Hint Example". Please note that they are entirely different. Hover Text displays description box on form field, while Hint Example displays text on text box and text area field in gray.

    Please review all your fields and give it a hover text value so that all your field would display description box as what you've expected.

    I hope this helps. Please let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you for using JotForm!
