Email notifications : How to turn off email notifications when editing a submission ?

    I have a form that after submission is posted to a grid report.  I want our maintenance department personnel to use the "edit submission" link on that grid report to complete the "Status of Maintenance Item" field with an update of the action taken.  When they hit "Submit" after recording their remarks. I would like to send a second specific email to someone that says the grid report has been updated and that the item has a new status.

    I also would like the entry that the maintenance men complete in that field to have an automatic date time stamp in that field.

    Is this possible.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off email notifications when a submission is edited, however, you may apply a workaround, you may use conditions, for example, you would need to add an email field to your form, it could be hidden, and it should be filled with your email address, then you would need to make the condition.

    Here are the steps.

    First add the email field to your form and set it as hidden : 

    Then add the condition, If the Email field is filled then send email notifications to this email address, I assume that it will be your email address.

    Then when you edit the submission on the Submission Page, the hidden field will be shown even if it's hidden on the form.
