    Collecting the data from forms

Asked by Kish Ranai  on January 25, 2016 at 10:17 PM

    Hi

Understand I can copy the HTML code and paste it in my webpage to get the form working on my website.

My concern is this...receiving the data from the users submitting the form.

I want the following 3 possibilities:

    1. send the data to me directly via email

    2. send data directly to my MySQL database on my web server

    3. send the data directly to an excel file

Can the above be done using JotForm?

Also if I were to subscribe JotForm for few months and then stop the subscription will all the forms created during my subscription  period be intact in my website or will they stop working?

Look forward to your kind reply.

    best rgds

    Kish

You can copy and paste the HTML code to your website. However we always suggest our users to use  Iframe Method. Iframe method generally works without any issue. Please, check the guide below for more information:

    1. send the data to me directly via email.

You can create Email Notification.  At that time, you will get the notification whenever you get a response.

    2. send data directly to my MySQL database on my web server

You can also send your submission data to MySQL database with using PHP.

    3. send the data directly to an excel file.

Finally, it is also possible to download your submissions as Excel, CSV and PDF format as you see below:

    a) Click on Submissions.

    b) Choose one of them.
