Technical question on form styles?

    Hi,

I recently made a form using JotForm - works fine BUT it seems to load a lot of un-needed resources particular the style sheets. Could you tell me if there is a way to export ONLY style sheets which are actually used?

At one point I styled the submit button with the "Apple Green" theme and subsequently removed it and re-published the form yet the style sheet is still downloaded to my browser each time I use to this form page. With trends in good design telling us to optimize our code and eliminate unnecessary overhead it seems your code is unnecessarily bloated.

Below is from Google dev tools analyzation of my page where I use your form - and these are only the form style sheets never mind the js! Why are unused style sheets even down-loaded?

form-submit-button-simple_green_apple.css: 100% is not used by the current page. printForm.css: 100% is not used by the current page. responsive.css: 100% is not used by the current page. nova.css: 100% is not used by the current page. formCss.css: 99% is not used by the current page.

Also my form is set to and seems to be working responsively yet the responsive.css file is not used at all - what's up with that?

    thanks, Rob

    Hi Rob,

If you are up to it, you do can customize the form using its full source code.

Check the user guide on How to Get the Full Source Code of Your Form here.

In the source code, all the stylesheets scripts are included as well on its own folder.

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

We have the same issue, we are also finding extra stylesheets attached to our form that have old css styles that we are fighting to overwrite.

Is there any way to get rid of these old sheets to have a clean stylesheet, that does not use the "source code option.

this is the form we are working on, but many have this issue
