Hi. When i use the create PDF Form function, if the include submit button or page break option is selected, the form fails to create. The webpage hangs with 'working' displayed. This is in chrome and firefox on the mac. When these options are omitted the form is created sucessfully.

Yes. Still happening with all forms. I do the above as you've done, select submit button and page breaks, hit continue. then it hangs and nothing happens. i've now tried this on android using chrome and firefox, mac running firefox, chrome and safari. all hangs.

I'm gonna guess it's to do with the eu.jotform.com running on the amazon servers. i get the screen with the working gif ticking over, but that just remains ticking over forever. you probably ain't on the eu system if you are not in the eu.

I checked from an EU account and I was able to create PDF forms from there as well:
Check to make sure the actual form has a submit button. This form for instance does not:
If the form does not have a submit button, it is not possible to include it in the PDF.

Is that not common sense. I have again tried to create a form without a submit button, omitting the submit button from the PDF create option. I am in the UK and access via EU. I have now tried this on a mac, android and windows xp old thing I have. All hang on the server that pops up something about Amazon. Maybe you don't get the knackered amazon server because Amazon sends the file from a one in the US to you even so you go via the eu.jotform.com.

I tested from both EU only and regular JotForms, both allowed for the creation of PDF's. May I ask, which form are you having trouble creating a PDF of? Make sure the form itself has a submit button or you will not be able to include a submit button in the PDF.
For example, this form form does not have a submit button:
If you do not include a submit button in the actual form, you will not be able to include one in the PDF version of the form.

I am selecting the Stove and Chimneys Assessment Tool. I am not selecting the submit option as the form does not have one. Once I click continue the system hangs. Have you tried running this through a VPN sourced in the UK? I am 100% convinced the issue relies on the Amazon server hosting your script. I can see it hanging. It displays at the bottom left on my browser something about Amazon like it cannot reach the destination server. I am running over EE broadband.

In EU only mode, you can only connect to the EU server. A VPN would not be necessary. Here is a PDF copy directly created from your form:
You can use that copy if you would like. There may be something on your network blocking our PDF server or something of that nature.

When i connect via a mobile network and chrome on android, it now tells me your server eu.jotform.com has invalid ssl certificate and blocks site by default. when i bypass this and generate pdf it hangs again. maybe all my providers are blocking your servers because you've some configuation issue which is causing google to block your site by default? i'll try generate with a basic template form with no changes and see if that works.

The PDF Test file I created generated a PDF after about 3 attempts. It generates the file from here:
The Chimney and Assessment Tool I am working out fails to generate and hangs with the load gif rotating. No such connection is made to generate the file.
So the issue cannot be myside blocking something. The issue must relate to when a large pdf is being generated, the connection between your site and pdf server hangs. I'll try one of your larger templates now and see if that hangs to prove the theory true.

Captured the XML from Amazon that is meant to be the PDF file. This is it's contents. Now do you believe me your generator is *u**ed? What's the email of your tech guy. I use to write systems like this 15 years ago when I was at High School so can figure out the problem if I can talk to the Dinesh?

I test again the Create PDF tool on your form
and it was successfull. The PDF Form was created just fine.
You can get the actual PDF created here
(Right-Click on the link and choose Save As)
When you retry on your end, can you please try using another browser? Please try Chrome browser for now.
Let us know how it goes.

I am now getting slightly annoyed with you Jonathan. I'm gonna email Ertuğrul about this. Clearly you don't believe me your system is chucking out blank xml files over this side of the pond with Chrome claiming your site is not secure. Yes over in San Fran your Linux box might be kicking our PDFs, but over this side of the pond we play football with our feet. Watch this video. I'm sure you'll understand better then Jonathan.

I am sorry for all this situation.
I am Europe based, but I also cannot replicate the same situation. I was able to create PDF forms when selecting "page break" and "submit button" options:
I will forward this situation to our developers so they can investigate it further.
When we are able to replicate the same situation we are able to provide further information to developers, helping the solution of the problem. When we, supporters, cannot replicate the situation we wait until we have enough information in order to forward the situation. I'm sorry for all the process.
We'll let you know as soon as we have more details.
Let us know if we can assist you further.

Sorry for the late response. I have just made a fix on PDF forms, you should be able to download your PDF form now. Can you please try again?
