Please wait message shown when submitting form

When using our form, multiple people have not been able to submit and just get a 'please wait' when submitting that just sits and never goes through. We are not embedding our form, why is this happening?

We really want to avoid asking multiple people if they can redo their form as some may have input a lot of information into it.

    Many thanks,

    Rachel

Sorry for any inconvenience. I have just cloned your form and was not able to recreate the issue. I have sent a couple of test submission and everyone was sent correctly.

I did notice that you had an invalid condition. Can you delete this. I would also recommend ask you users to clear their cache and cookies.

If they are still having issues, please let us know. We will be glad to take another look.

We are still having issues with this, it is not across all users but is happening to far too many people when using our form.

I took a look at your form Rachel and I was able to submit it, but I have noticed the issue.

Please do remove the Spreadsheet widget from your form and then add another one int its place.

When you do that, you should name the new widget with the same label and you can copy paste the same setup from within the wizard.

Alternatively, you can create a clone of your current form and use that clone to test if the issue is removed. This should help remove it which is why my colleague was not able to see the same issue after cloning your form.

You can see how to clone your own form here: How to clone an existing form from your account?

For some reason your reply was not shown here, but I was able to find it, so here it is:

Would this not then delete the information previously put into this widget if we delete and then replace it?

To reply to you on that, the short answer would be no.

What happens is that your data is temporarily hidden (still available), but once you add the same widget back to the form and give it the same label, the data should become available (visible) again.

This happens because data is never actually deleted if you do not delete it yourself, it is just hidden.

I do however recommend removing and then recreating the same and only then hitting the Save button. Alternatively, if you allow this, we can log into your account and refresh the widget for you (quickly remove it and add it back).

To avoid this until we are sure that the same issue is indeed caused by Spreadsheet widget only, I do suggest cloning the form allowing you to confirm the same, after which we can still (if you allow that) log into your account and do the required changes for you.
