I am working on creating a form to collect customer data. However, I need to make sure that only potential customers can access and fill out the form. Also, when the customers begin to fill out the form, I need to make sure their data isn't saved on the form and thus shared with other customers.
Thanks
Andrew

You cannot add a password field as our phishing detector would likely suspend the form for phishing. But you can add a verification code and add conditions to show the whole form only if the user inputs the correct code.
Hide the fields for your form and setup a condition to show the fields when the user inputs the verification code.
Here's a gif of the sample form in action.
You can clone this sample form to edit the conditions.

Here's how: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL
As for your second concern, when a user submits the form the submission data will be sent to your Jotform account. Then once the submission is complete, the data from the form will not appear once they visit the page again.
