'Configurable list' widget not displaying for some users

We're getting occasional reports from clients when filling out surveys, that the 'Configurable list' widget questions are not showing up for them. We have been instructing those people to try a different browser, and that usually solves it. However, we've got a couple people saying that even that doesn't change the problem for them.

My uneducated guess is some kind of ad-blocker or virus scan preventing it from showing up. Is this likely the case?

Are you aware of some characteristic of the widgets that is likely to trigger ad-blockers or virus scans to stop them from loading for people trying to fill out our forms?

    Hi Brandon,

Is your jotform http://www.jotform.com/53345277885973 embedded on a website or it was being used directly via its URL?

We can test for more details if you share to us the URL if its used on a website.

I can say in most cases, this is true, not just for JotForm.

Usually ad-blockers were meant to block browser scripts(pop-up and the like)... so if an end-user have it on their browsers, most likely it will block something, and it will prevent something from working as intended.

As far as I know, our widget developers have designed the widgets with consideration already of some ad-blockers, pop-up blockers. So they still work even when these plugins/extensions are on the end-user's browser.

As you can see now, its rare from our users to report that ad-blockers had been an issue with the use of widgets on the form.

If you can request from your user that encounter the issue, perhaps try request form them to capture it by taking screenshot of the problem. This will help our dev to improve and fix what is needed.

    Thanks.
