How do I transfer an encryption key to another PC or generate a second key?

I have made our forms secure with an encryption key. This works fine on my PC. However, others need to access the forms and I thought I could just transfer the same key across to their PCs and it would work.  It hasn't.

Have you checked our guide regarding Encrypted form feature in this link: http://www.jotform.com/help/344-What-are-Encrypted-Forms-and-how-to-use-them-as-expert.

I believe you should be able to share the file key to others, given that the key you are providing is the correct one. And the "Upload Key Wizard" window should show up to the person who is viewing the encrypted submission.

It is possible that they already have their own encryption key in their browser's storage, when they are opening your encrypted submission, it remains encrypted because the key being used is the one in their own browser storage. They'll need to clear their browser's cache so that the "Upload Key Wizard" will show up. Or they can open an incognito mode Chrome window or using a Firefox private browsing feature.

Please also note that you cannot generate a second key, when you turn off then turn on the encryption feature again, and created another key, that will be another unique key, it will only work for new submissions, not to your old submissions.
