How can I add a Value to a Dropdown list automatically on submissionAsked by BXGEN on February 19, 2016 at 08:34 AM
I'm making a instant quote system with jotform for my party magic stuff and I was wondering as I'm using dates if I can make it where when they submit the request and book me, the date would automatically be another option in the dropdown list so I can use conditional logic to check if the date is available.
You could set the conditions to check if those times are available - by adding the dates into the conditions themselves.
Additionally - if I understood what you mean correctly Joshua, you might want to test out the appointment widget: Appointment Slots
Alternatively also: Date Reservation
You can grab both (one or both, but one at a time) following these steps: How to Add a Widget to your Form
Do let us know how it goes and if this is what you had in mind.
With the date reservation, will it stop other people from selecting that date?
Yes, you can use the "Date Reservation" widget like that. When a date is selected and the form is submitted, that date won't be available anymore.
