PayPal integration "stuck" at "please wait"

I'm testing a registration form for people to purchase tickets. I have everything set up with the PayPal integration but when I click submit it gets stuck at "Please Wait" and won't move forward at all. Same thing goes with adding coupon codes -- I just get a spinning wheel. Do you have any recommendations?
