Email notifications: Suddenly stopped receiving email notifications, email address is as an invalid address.Asked by WCAA2012 on February 29, 2016 at 01:45 PM
Can you help us fix our "Nov 1 New/Returning WCAA Membership Application 2016" form? It was sending a notification to our email@example.com every time someone filled out the form, regardless of payment selection. As of this week, we aren't getting a copy of a completed form emailed to us any more. It's puzzling because we haven't changed the form email settings in a few months.
Side note: our firstname.lastname@example.org is forwarded to several staff emails, however, when I looked at email@example.com's spam box and my own, I didn't see a copy of the completed form. I also re-embeded the jotform link on our website, just the html code here and it fix anything - the form is embedded in "CLICK HERE" - "Pay your WCAA National Dues - CLICK HERE".

I found that your email address is in our bounce list, this is the reason:
It has a recent history of bouncing as an invalid address.
I have tested your form and the email was successfully sent, if the issue still persists, please whitelist our IP Addresses: http://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotMails-IP-Addresses.

My forms it´s not sending e-mails, I have already checked the rules/conditions and checked my firewall.

Our email carrier doesn't allow us to whitelist the Jotform IP addresses. They asked us to obtain from Jotform the original email that was sent, as an attachment, as well as a copy of the bounce back message you received when you tried to send a test.

This is message that I got when checked your email address in our bounce list:
Amazon SES has suppressed sending to this address because it has a recent history of bouncing as an invalid address.

I checked again your email address and it seems to be fine now.
No I did not receive the test you forwarded. I've also submitted a second test and it did not generate an email to me either. We need to get this issue resolved ASAP. I am in the office from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST and would like to discuss by phone 919.263.9850.
I checked your email address and it is in our bounce list again, the reason is the same than above.

I received the test email. What if we change the email address to my personal email address for the jotform submission by members? Could that help since it's not a generic email address? Teresa@wcaa.org?
If we can't get this resolved today I will need to look at alternatives to replace the jotform as we can not be in the position of not receiving new members applications.
Thank you, that is very helpful for us, I will escalate this to our second level as I have removed the email address from our bounce list, but it is there again for the same reason, so one of our developers will take a look and will reply you when it is solved.
Yes, you can use your personal email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
I did check it and it is not in our bounce list, you should receive your emails normally on this email address.

I have opened a ticket reporting the issue with your other email address, you should receive news soon.
The issue with your email address is now fixed, I have removed it from the bounce list again and it should be working now.
Please try to make some tests and let us know if you are able to receive your email notifications now.
