    Why I'm getting an error email when trying to set a custom sender email address?

    2-We ran a test document to submit online and it went through but generated and email back to us as follows:

     

    From: JotForm <noreply@jotform.com>

    Subject: JotForm SMTP account error

    Date: March 1, 2016 at 2:50:11 PM MST

    To: marnee@marriottphoto.com

     

    Dear MarriottPhoto,

     

    There was an error on your SMTP configuration. Due to that error, our system automatically changed your email sender's address for your form ID 42506331335143 to noreply@jotform.com to prevent issues arising from your account.

     

    Please log in to your JotForm account (http://www.jotform.com) to correct your SMTP configuration.

     

    If you have questions, please post your questions to http://www.jotform.com/answers/ or send an email to jotformsupport@gmail.com.

    I would suggest you to first delete the current SMTP settings that you have in your form, this guide will help you to achieve it: http://www.jotform.com/help/241-How-to-Edit-Delete-Sender-Emails-on-SMTP-Settings

    Once you have deleted the settings add them once again, follow the steps on this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/238-How-to-Add-a-Custom-Sender-Address-to-an-Email-Alert
