Configurable List

Hi there,

 

I'm building out a End of Day Reconciliation form for some of my medical practices.  I'd like to use the configurable list because it allows the user to add more lines.  The only issue I can see is there's no way to get a subtotal from the Number field.  Is that correct?  Is there a way I can add a subtotal?  

What is the best way you have seen other organizations handle setting up forms that require a subtotal and the user to possible enter multiple lines?

A possible workaround for your form would be to use the spreadsheet widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/spreadsheet 

Or perhaps you can add a regular number field and duplicate it so that you have the maximum entries expected on your form. This way, you can perform calculations in the fields without any issue.

That widget would work if I could change the column and row headings, the numbers and letters do not look professional.
I have no idea what the max entries per day would be as it’s an end of day reconciliation of cash, mc, visa, AmEx, checks, and insurance payments and adjustments……… I need the user to define how many but still be able to add up each category with a subtotal field.
I take it nothing like that exists in JotForms?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to perform calculations using Configurable list widget. However, you may add multiple fields to your JotForm and show the fields by using some conditions as shown below:
