Also what is the definition of one month? one calendar month? or one month from the date I joined meaning monthly anniversary date?

Submissions counter is reset once at the beginning of each month. Once you reach the monthly submissions limit, you don't receive more submissions until next month. As a free user, you have 100 submissions limit per month. It will reset at 01/04/2016.

    Hi

Okay let say today is the 20th of March 2016 and you have ran out of payment submissions and you decide to upgrade to Bronze for just one month and would like to return to the free subscription after that. So this upgrade will give me 1000 payment submissions and 1000 submissions.

Now will this 1000 payment submissions and 1000 submissions get reset on 1st April 2016 or 20th April 2016?

According to you it will get reset on 1st April...if that is case then if you paid for 1000 payment submissions and you are not allowed to use it because it has to be reset on 1st April and we are only allow to use this for 11 days in March before it get reset back to the free subscription which is 10.

Isn't this unfair...if my understanding is correct? shouldn't the upgrade be valid for one complete month rather (month anniversary) than at end of each month?

I am trying to understand this because I will have a situation where there will some peak periods where I will need more payment submissions and some periods where payment periods may be very low. So I need to understand how this works so that I can know when to upgrade and when to downgrade.

Hope you can give me more clarification on this

    Rgds

Based from how our subscription plan works, the paid monthly subscription plan allows you to have the higher submission limits for a month.

Yes that is correct, every 1st day of the calendar month, the submission count resets, but it does not mean that your submissions are being deleted.

The submission count basically is on calendar month while the subscription plan is based on the data of subscription.

    Example case scenario:

Upgraded to Bronze on March 20, 2016, you will be allowed to have a submission limit of 1,000 monthly.

March 20-31: You were able to received exactly 1,000 submissions

April 1: It will reset to zero, giving you another 1,000 limit again

April 1-20: You received 1,000 submissions again

On April 20, your account will set to "Free" plan (given that you only want to have 1 month of subscription), your account will automatically reach it's submission limit for the month of April because you have 1,000 submissions already and you are in "Free" plan.

I understand that it is quite confusing but I believe it is for the best interest of our users, in our example, you'll see that you are actually allowed to receive 2,000 submissions for the month of March and April, given if you were able to reach the limits on those instances.

If it was designed to give you a limit on a strict 1 month from the date of subscription, this will be one example case scenario:

    March 20 - April 20, 2016: strict 1,000 submission limits

March 20-31: Example you already reached 1,000 submissions in just a span of 11 days, AND there's no monthly calendar reset, your account will already be disabled or set to overlimit on that date up until April 20, not giving your forms any chance of having a submission on the month of April.

I hope my examples were able to answer your questions.
